IDP Norway believes that all children have the right to participate in an inclusive society regardless of their gender, abilities, disabilities, ethnicity, religion, language and socio-economic background.
Schools and other educational institutions should try to embrace and respect all children in their enviroment as individuals and offer services according to the abilities of each child.
To achieve this, IDP Norway believes that inclusive and child friendly education is the best means. Inclusive education reaches out to headmasters, government officials, teachers, parents, pupils, students, university lecturers etc. and supports them to facilitate change towards a more inclusive society and education system.
